On 4 October, Ms Susanne Soghomonyan, Member of the ALA Board and Ms Mariam Zadoyan, Project Manager of the ALA Component of the “Armenia: Promoting Anti-Corruption Conduct and Reforms” Project met with the representative of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Lyudmila Tautiyeva.
During the meeting the participants discussed the anti-corruption reforms in the business sphere and the existing problems, as well as exchanged views on the public policies implemented by the Government in this area. The parties also touched upon the anti-corruption reforms in the business sector, which have been presented by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association and the CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, their progress and results.
Mariam Zadoyan noted that currently steps are being taken to implement anti-corruption programs and introduced the planned activities in the scope of the “Armenia: Promoting Anti-Corruption Conduct and Reforms” Project.
