ALA President, Coordinator of the CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition Secretariat Mr. Karen Zadoyan participated in the Session of the Anti-Corruption Council of the RA where the website of the Anticorruption Monitoring Platform, the drafts of the by-laws issuing from the sub-legislative acts derivative from the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Institution of Corruption Reporters” and other agenda issues were presented.
During the session Karen Zadoyan attached great importance to the establishment of additional guarantees for the implementation of the reporting system and the importance of sub-legislative acts and at the same time pointing out that, based on the hacker attacks and the importance of protecting the reporting persons’ security, it is necessary to develop an Electronic Reporting Platform so that two months later, the information about the reporting person will automatically be deleted from the system.
Karen Zadoyan also raised a question suggesting to discuss during the next session of the Anti-Corruption Council of the RA the process of implementation of the instructions of the Prime Minister, Chairman of the Council Karen Karapetyan during the previous sessions of the Council.
