Projects under these 17 grants, have been carried out in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, and Gegharkunik provinces, as well as in Yerevan. During the course of the Action, in addition to the 17 mentioned initiatives, we have also provided 12 grants for monitoring and the development of simplified budgets. The work has been carried out through various mechanisms, including meetings and discussions with government bodies, the expert community, and civil society, as well as through advocacy campaigns,\u201d Karen Zadoyan noted.<\/p>\n<p>The work of the Center for Economic Rights was highlighted. Thanks to the effective activities and consistent efforts of the team, significant reforms have been implemented in budgetary processes of the country. 84 out of 132 strategic proposals developed by the expert team of the Center, have already been officially adopted and put into practice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe first was the Prime Minister\u2019s decision in January 2026 concerning the review of budget applications. At Mr. Aristakesyan\u2019s proposal, the period for these discussions was extended from just a few days to two months,\u201d the Project Manager added.<\/p>\n<p>Ms Karine Harutyunyan, Executive Director of the \u201cEconomic Development and Research Center\u201d NGO, presented the results of the project.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Today, an increasing number of young professionals and civil society organizations are able to participate in the budget process to varying degrees. A study on the effectiveness of the credit system within doctoral training was conducted within the framework of the project.
