{"id":9719,"date":"2026-01-20T11:16:38","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T07:16:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/?p=9719"},"modified":"2026-01-20T11:16:38","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T07:16:38","slug":"presentation-of-the-results-of-the-purpose-change-project-and-public-discussion-in-vanadzor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/9719.html","title":{"rendered":"Presentation of the Results of the \u201cPurpose: Change\u201d Project and Public Discussion in Vanadzor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"305\" data-end=\"572\">On January 12, 2026, a presentation of the results of the sub-grant project <strong data-start=\"381\" data-end=\"402\">\u201cPurpose: Change\u201d<\/strong>, implemented within the framework of the <strong data-start=\"444\" data-end=\"470\">\u201cBudgets for Citizens\u201d<\/strong> project, along with a public discussion, took place in the meeting hall of the Vanadzor Municipality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"574\" data-end=\"607\">The event was held in two phases:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"767\">\n<li data-start=\"608\" data-end=\"697\">\n<p data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"697\">Presentation of the results achieved within the project and the challenges identified<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"767\">\n<p data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"767\">Panel discussion with the participation of sector representatives<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"769\" data-end=\"1044\">The event was attended by members of the Vanadzor City Council, representatives of the Regional Administration and the Municipality, kindergarten directors and staff, parents of preschool-aged children, as well as representatives of civil society organizations and the media.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1046\" data-end=\"1150\">The opening remarks were delivered by <strong data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1104\">Gevorg Kotanjyan<\/strong>, President of the <strong data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1149\">\u201cDirect Democracy\u201d NGO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1152\" data-end=\"1677\">This was followed by welcoming remarks from <strong data-start=\"1196\" data-end=\"1219\">Suzanna Soghomonyan<\/strong>, representative of the <strong data-start=\"1243\" data-end=\"1276\">Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association<\/strong> and the <strong data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1311\">\u201cBudgets for Citizens\u201d<\/strong> project. In her speech, she presented the activities carried out within the framework of the \u201cBudgets for Citizens\u201d project, emphasizing that the project has contributed to the systematic capacity development of civil society organizations and young professionals, particularly in the areas of understanding budgetary processes, participation, and public oversight.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1679\" data-end=\"1888\">The project results, the conducted surveys, the analysis based on the collected data, and the developed recommendations were presented by <strong data-start=\"1817\" data-end=\"1835\">Arbak Sargsyan<\/strong>, a member of the <strong data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"1874\">\u201cPurpose: Change\u201d<\/strong> project team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1890\" data-end=\"2015\">Following the Q&amp;A session, a panel discussion took place.
