{"id":9702,"date":"2025-10-05T10:03:43","date_gmt":"2025-10-05T06:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/?p=9702"},"modified":"2026-01-15T10:05:39","modified_gmt":"2026-01-15T06:05:39","slug":"integrated-handbook-on-countering-disinformation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/9702.html","title":{"rendered":"Integrated Handbook on Countering Disinformation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"297\" data-end=\"525\">The <strong data-start=\"301\" data-end=\"353\">Integrated <a href=\"https:\/\/armla.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Disinformation_Handbook.pdf\">Handbook<\/a> on Countering Disinformation<\/strong> was developed to support civil society organizations, media institutions, state authorities, and the private sector in strengthening information security and public trust.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"527\" data-end=\"720\">The Handbook presents a systemic approach to the prevention, detection, response, and recovery from disinformation, combining international best practices with Armenia\u2019s national specificities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"744\">The document includes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"1107\">\n<li data-start=\"746\" data-end=\"817\">\n<p data-start=\"748\" data-end=\"817\">an analysis of forms of disinformation and manipulation mechanisms;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"818\" data-end=\"864\">\n<p data-start=\"820\" data-end=\"864\">fact-checking and media literacy toolkits;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"865\" data-end=\"953\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"867\" data-end=\"953\">methodologies for strategic communication and the development of counter-narratives;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"1018\">\n<p data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"1018\">models for information crisis management and rapid response;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1019\" data-end=\"1107\">\n<p data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1107\">an overview of Lithuania\u2019s successful experience and applicable solutions for Armenia.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1109\" data-end=\"1369\">The Handbook aims to foster a unified and coordinated culture of countering disinformation, in which the state, civil society organizations, the media, and the private sector act as partners to protect the quality of public discourse and democratic resilience.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\" data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1822\">This Handbook was developed within the framework of the program <strong data-start=\"1435\" data-end=\"1576\">\u201cArmenia\u2019s Disinformation Resilience Academy: Strengthening Strategic Defense Capacities through the Transfer of Lithuania\u2019s Experience,\u201d<\/strong> implemented by the <strong data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1629\">Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association<\/strong>.
