{"id":9623,"date":"2025-10-10T21:39:14","date_gmt":"2025-10-10T17:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/?p=9623"},"modified":"2025-10-10T21:44:57","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T17:44:57","slug":"the-9th-global-summit-of-the-open-government-partnership-took-place","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/9623.html","title":{"rendered":"The 9th Global Summit of the Open Government Partnership took place"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Syuzanna Soghomonyan, Programs Director of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association, participated in the 9th Global Summit of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) on October 7-9, 2025, in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Kingdom of Spain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The summit brought together around 2,000 representatives from governments, local authorities, legislative bodies, and civil society organizations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">At the panel discussion on \u201cProtecting Whistleblowers &amp; Strengthening Oversight: Building Trust &amp; Impact,\u201d Syuzanna Soghomonyan spoke about the work carried out in the direction of developing the whistleblowing system in Armenia, systemic issues that still requires solutions, as well as the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/haytnir.am\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/haynir.am&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1760202655092000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1fXENmyUumnzWSp46gRDTg\">haytnir.am<\/a>\u00a0alternative whistleblowing platform created and operated by the Association.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As a reminder, more than 75 countries and 104 local governments are members of the Open Government Partnership initiative. The Government of the Republic of Armenia has been a member since 2011.
