Students of Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders Met with Judge of the RA Court of Cassation Anti-Corruption Chamber
\nOn December 26, within the framework of the 10th special stream of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders implemented by the Armenian Lawyers’ Association, a virtual meeting was held with Liza Grigoryan, judge of the civil cases judicial panel of the Anti-Corruption Chamber of the RA Court of Cassation.
\nThe judge welcomed and emphasized the importance of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association’s continuous development and implementation of such educational programs in the field of anti-corruption.
\nDuring the meeting, Judge Grigoryan presented in detail the role and functions of the Court of Cassation in anti-corruption efforts, specifically addressing the peculiarities of applying the “Law on Confiscation of Illicit Property” and international experience. She also familiarized students with the three-tier judicial system and case examination procedures in the Court of Cassation.
\nDuring the interactive discussion, students had the opportunity to ask questions to the judge about the activities of the Court of Cassation’s Anti-Corruption Chamber, case timeframes, and the chamber’s work.
