On November 22, the “Budgets for Citizens” project team met with students from the National Polytechnic University of Armenia to present current prospects for becoming a budget expert.<\/p>\n
In the opening remarks, Anahit Mardoyan, Project Assistant at the Armenian Lawyers Association, presented the project’s mission and the budgets.am platform, which has become an effective means of acquiring budget knowledge. Special emphasis was placed on the unique opportunity the program offers young people to combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience.<\/p>\n
Karine Harutyunyan, Executive Director of Economic Development and Research Center, detailed the curriculum content and emphasized the importance of budget analysis skills in the development of a modern specialist.<\/p>\n
One of the most impressive moments of the meeting was the speech by NPUA student Levon Soghomonyan. As a graduate of the program’s first stream, he is now applying his knowledge in the “Universal Inclusion: Public Investment Efficiency and Accountability” sub-grant program. Levon shared his professional journey experience, particularly emphasizing the value of visits to government institutions, and encouraged his fellow students to take advantage of this unique opportunity.<\/p>\n
The event concluded with discussions where students received comprehensive answers to their questions. Many students have already expressed their desire to join the program.<\/p>\n
