On 19 March, the 4th awareness seminar aimed at developing the budget capacities of CSOs) and Mass Media was held within the framework of the \u201cBudgets 4 Citizens\u201d Project was held in online format at the Central Office of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the seminar, Program Assistant Ms Anahit Mardoyan, representative of the ALA, and Project Expert on Budget Issues\u00a0 Ms Lilit Hakobyan, representative of the \u201cEconomic Development and Research Center\u201d (EDRC) NGO, welcomed the participants of the seminar.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of the online seminar, Anahit Mardoyan presented to the participants the Project, target areas, the works implemented and planned within its framework, the expected results, and also introduced the newly created\u00a0budgets.am<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0budget knowledge exchange platform.<\/p>\n

Then the participants got acquainted with the educational program<\/a>\u00a0aimed at developing the skills of CSOs and Mass Media planned within the framework of the Project.<\/p>\n

Lilit Hakobyan, representative of the \u201cEconomic Development and Research Center\u201d, presented to the participants the budgetary component of the training program and the skills and abilities to be acquired as a result of training.<\/p>\n

After that the participants asked a number of questions, in particular about the terms of the training, the procedure of applying, the stages and their effectiveness.<\/p>\n

CSOs and Mass Media interested in the budget training can\u00a0register\u00a0here\u00a0<\/a>until 31 March of this year<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Ms Eleonora Begoyan, President of Open Borders Institute of Peace, Democracy and Development, Ms Shushan Melikyan, representative of Urban Foundation for Sustainable Development, Ms Varsenik Mesropyan, representative of \u201dYouth Avangard\u201d NGO, Ms Varduhi Mesropyan, Coordinator of Community Development Programs of “Partnership and Teaching” NGO, Ms Anush Hayrapetyan-Malintsyan, President of “Syunik DMO” NGO, Ms Mary Nersisyan, \u00a0representative of Kapan Civil Youth Center, Mr. Gevorg Manukyan, President of the “Armenian Constitutional Human Right-Protective Center” NGO, Ms Anush Aslanyan, President of the “Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities” NGO, Ms Satenik Vanoyan, President of “Arev-Van” Educational and Cultural NGO, and Ms Karine Movsisyan, President of “Goris Youth Union” NGO participated in the online awareness seminar.<\/p>\n
