{"id":7440,"date":"2022-08-19T17:54:48","date_gmt":"2022-08-19T13:54:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/?p=7440"},"modified":"2022-08-24T11:36:36","modified_gmt":"2022-08-24T07:36:36","slug":"integrity-impartiality-adherence-to-anti-corruption-values-the-choice-of-the-students-of-anti-corruption-school","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/7440.html","title":{"rendered":"Integrity, impartiality, adherence to anti-corruption values:\u00a0The choice of the students of Anti-Corruption School"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Integrity, impartiality, adherence to anti-corruption values: these are the filtered values \u200b\u200bthat the students of the 8th Stream of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders filtered as a\u00a0result of group work-play.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">On 18 August, during two courses, held in office and online (for those who live outside of Armenia and in regions) formants, the\u00a0listeners\u00a0discussed\u00a0the RA Anti-Corruption Strategy and its Implementation Action Plan for 2019-2022,\u00a0corruption prevention,\u00a0Corruption Prevention Commission, anti-corruption education and awareness, as well as public participation in the fight against corruption.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association, the founder of the Anti-Corruption School, in addition to the creation of national anti-corruption bodies and the provision of accountability mechanisms in the fight against corruption drew the attention of the participants to the third pillar of the anti-corruption fight &#8211; the anti &#8211; corruption education.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The participants discussed the existing problems related to the introduction of anti-corruption programs in the field of education in Armenia. Karen Zadoyan specifically pointed out the successful experience of Hong Kong, according to which the implementation of anti-corruption educational programs and instilling anti-corruption values in children starts from kindergarten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">He also\u00a0 presented all the issues that arose during the development of the anti-corruption strategy , the creation of national anti-corruption bodies, as well as the contribution of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association of in the stages of development, implementation and monitoring the strategy, including:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 in the activities of ensuring public participation and awareness as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A game with the objective to reveal anti- corruption values was organized for the participants. According to the general position of the participants, the most important characteristics of an anti- corruption leader are integrity, impartiality and adherence to anti- corruption values.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Speaking about the current challenges for Armenia, Karen Zadoyan mentioned that the way to face them is the formation of meritocracy (literally &#8221; a society governed by people selected according to merit&#8221;) , that is, to support all talented people to create additional values and use them in the current struggle for survival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>\u201cThe Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d NGO is organizing the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders in cooperation with the CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em style=\"text-align: justify\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-394612 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/iravaban.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/18.08.22-e1660914986822.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1864\" height=\"806\" \/><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Integrity, impartiality, adherence to anti-corruption values: these are the filtered values \u200b\u200bthat the students of the 8th Stream of the Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders filtered as a\u00a0result of group work-play.
