{"id":6833,"date":"2021-03-17T10:07:22","date_gmt":"2021-03-17T06:07:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/?p=6833"},"modified":"2021-03-30T14:27:00","modified_gmt":"2021-03-30T10:27:00","slug":"cso-report-on-the-implementation-of-chapter-ii-and-chapter-v-of-the-un-convention-against-corruption-in-armenia-was-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/6833.html","title":{"rendered":"CSO Report on the Implementation of Chapter II and Chapter V of the UN Convention against Corruption in Armenia was Published"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Armenian Lawyers Association and CSO Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia in cooperation with UNCAC Coalition have developed a new Civil Society Report on the implementation of Chapter II (Corruption Prevention) and Chapter V (Asset Recovery) provisions of the UN Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) in Armenia.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>A lack of an independent anti-corruption institutional body, political influence, a lack of integrity, monitoring &amp; resources, and an incomplete asset recovery framework are among the many challenges that still persist in the fight against corruption in Armenia.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Key recommendations for the government of Armenia include: filling the gaps in the regulations of the anti-corruption bodies, judiciary, assets, income and interest declarations, procurement system, as well as improving whistleblower framework and integrity checks, and increasing transparency in political parties&#8217; financing.
