On 22 January, 2020, a training-seminar on “Strategic Planning for CSOs” was organized in the Lori Branch of the Armenian Lawyers Association of NGO.<\/p>\n
The training was attended by representatives of non-governmental organizations of Lori Marz, with a total of 8 participants.\u00a0The registration list of participants is available\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Zarine Hovhannisyan, Lawyer\/Program Coordinator of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association in Vanadzor made the opening remarks. She thanked the participants for their presence, as well as presented the \u201cALA for Modernization\u201d project, which envisages a similar continuous training to build the capacity of CSOs and CSO coalitions.<\/p>\n The participants were first introduced the Presentation<\/a>\u00a0on<\/strong> strategic planning processes, methodology and development specific characteristics,<\/strong>\u00a0and CSO representatives were then able to watch a video related to the topic, in which Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the ALA presented in more detail the whole process of strategic planning of CSOs.<\/p>\n At the end of the seminar, the participants addressed questions to the speaker on the methodology of strategy development, overall strategy development mechanisms, as well as evaluated the new knowledge, highly appreciating the importance and effectiveness of the training.\u00a0The evaluation sheet is available\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n Notably, the trainings will be continuous and seminars will be organized on a regular basis on specific themes aimed to promote proper organization and capacity building of CSOs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" On 22 January, 2020, a training-seminar on “Strategic Planning for CSOs” was organized in the Lori Branch of the Armenian Lawyers Association of NGO.
