{"id":5154,"date":"2019-11-25T10:21:28","date_gmt":"2019-11-25T06:21:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/?p=5154"},"modified":"2019-11-25T11:41:25","modified_gmt":"2019-11-25T07:41:25","slug":"the-armenian-lawyers-association-is-a-member-of-the-council-on-womens-issues-established-by-the-decision-of-the-prime-minister-of-the-republic-of-armenia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/5154.html","title":{"rendered":"The Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association is a Member of the Council on Women&#8217;s Issues established by the Decision of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Council on Women\u2019s Issues was established on 21 November, 2019 by the decision N 1740-A of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.\u00a0The Council is chaired by RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.\u00a0The Council includes representatives from both government and the public sector.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association is also a member of the Council on Women&#8217;s Issues, represented by legal expert Mariam Zadoyan.\u00a0It should be noted that the selection of the members of the above mentioned Council was done by the NGOs themselves.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association has always emphasized the protection of women&#8217;s rights.\u00a0In particular, the organization actively participates in the roundtable discussions organized within the framework of the NA-CSO Open Platform.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In this context it is worth to underline the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccd.armla.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/%C2%AB%D4%BF%D4%B1%D5%86%D4%B1%D5%86%D5%91-%D4%BB%D5%90%D4%B1%D5%8E%D5%88%D5%92%D5%86%D5%94%D5%86%D4%B5%D5%90%D4%BB-%D5%8A%D4%B1%D5%87%D5%8F%D5%8A%D4%B1%D5%86%D5%88%D5%92%D4%B9%D5%85%D4%B1%D5%86-%D5%84%D4%B5%D4%BD%D4%B1%D5%86%D4%BB%D4%B6%D5%84%D5%86%D4%B5%D5%90%D4%BB-%D4%B1%D5%84%D5%90%D4%B1%D5%8A%D5%86%D4%B4%D5%84%D4%B1%D5%86-%D5%80%D4%B5%D5%8C%D4%B1%D5%86%D4%BF%D4%B1%D5%90%D5%86%D4%B5%D5%90%D4%B8-%D5%80%D4%B1%D5%85%D4%B1%D5%8D%D5%8F%D4%B1%D5%86%D5%88%D5%92%D5%84%C2%BB.pdf\">report<\/a> &#8220;Prospects for Strengthening the Mechanisms for the Protection of Women&#8217;s Rights in Armenia&#8221; recently published by our organization. The report was prepared by the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association within the framework of the European Union-funded &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221;.
