{"id":5147,"date":"2019-11-22T18:05:15","date_gmt":"2019-11-22T14:05:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/?p=5147"},"modified":"2024-02-01T23:03:22","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T19:03:22","slug":"ministry-of-finance-accepted-ala-recommendation-changes-will-be-made-in-the-prime-ministers-decision","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/5147.html","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of Finance accepted ALA Recommendation:\u00a0Changes will be made in the Prime Minister&#8217;s Decision"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association, attaching importance to continued oversight and involvement in the budgetary process, <a href=\"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/5043.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sent\u00a0<\/a> comments, suggestions and response letters from the state authorities to\u00a0 the RA Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance and the NA Committees.\u00a0<strong>It was also suggested that a separate provision in the work plans envisaged by the RA Prime Minister&#8217;s decision to launch a budgetary process in the coming years be provided, whereby the involvement of sectoral CSOs in the process of preparing budget requests (prior to submitting applications to the Ministry of Finance) would be mandatory.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In response to the ALA letter, the Ministry of Finance has stated that a\u00a0<strong>draft schedule approved by the Prime Minister of<\/strong>\u00a0the Republic of Armenia on 2021 Budgetary Process will\u00a0<strong>propose that, prior to submitting budget applications to the Ministry of Finance, applicants should submit their applications, including accounting justifications for the discussion with CSOs by organizing public discussions.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">We are pleased to inform that the efforts made by the ALA to make the budgetary process in Armenia more transparent and controllable are already bringing to changes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">As we have reported earlier within the framework of the EU-funded &#8220;Commitment to Constructive Dialogue&#8221;
