The Mentors of the School included Mr. Karen Zadoyan, ALA&#8217;s President and the Founder of the School, Mr. Marat Atovmyan and Ms. Syuzanna Soghomonyan, ALA Board members and Anti-Corruption Experts and Ms Mariam Zadoyan, Eastern Partnership Civil Society Fellow and Anti-Corruption Expert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Mr. Karen Zadoyan, President of the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association of said in his welcoming speech that in addition to theoretical knowledge the school graduates got acquainted with the anti-corruption tools and the nuances of their implementation.\u00a0&#8220;They already are trained and knowing anti-corruption specialists,&#8221; Karen Zadoyan said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">8 young people presented reports on their research in the field of anti-corruption.\u00a0They talked about the \u201cPossibilities for returning the Stolen Assets to Armenia\u201d, the &#8220;Whistleblowers System in Armenia:\u00a0Current Problems and Development Tendencies&#8221;, &#8220;The Necessity for Introduction of the Institute of Beneficial Owners in Armenia&#8221;, &#8220;International Standards of the Capacity of Independent Anti-Corruption Bodies.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">According to Gor Badalyan, a graduate of the school, nearly a year&#8217;s training provided new knowledge and skills to the graduates.\u00a0&#8220;A\u00a0school that shapes political will, justice, for struggles against a phenomenon that has deep roots in all aspects of the country&#8217;s economic, political and social development.\u00a0Another stream has been equipped with tools that should be used to combat corruption,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5182\" src=\"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/12\/48405593_972189952989923_2310140282907131904_o.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"407\" height=\"960\" srcset=\"https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/12\/48405593_972189952989923_2310140282907131904_o.jpg 407w, https:\/\/armla.am\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/12\/48405593_972189952989923_2310140282907131904_o-127x300.jpg 127w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 407px) 100vw, 407px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 19 December, the closing ceremony of the 2018 flow of Anti-Corruption School for Young Leaders took place.
