On 4 October, Ms Susanne Soghomonyan, Member of the ALA Board and Ms Mariam Zadoyan, Project Manager of the ALA Component of the \u201cArmenia: Promoting Anti-Corruption Conduct and Reforms\u201d Project met with the representative of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, Lyudmila Tautiyeva.<\/p>\n
During the meeting the participants discussed the anti-corruption reforms in the business sphere and the existing problems, as well as exchanged views on the public policies implemented by the Government in this area.\u00a0The parties also touched upon the anti-corruption reforms in the business sector, which have been presented by the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association and the CSOs Anti-Corruption Coalition of Armenia, their progress and results.<\/p>\n
Mariam Zadoyan noted that currently steps are being taken to implement anti-corruption programs and introduced the planned activities in the scope of the \u201cArmenia: Promoting Anti-Corruption Conduct and Reforms\u201d Project.<\/p>\n
This material has been prepared in the scope of the \u201cArmenia: Promoting Anti-Corruption Conduct and Reforms\u201d Project implemented by the \u201cCenter for International Private Enterprise\u201d, the \u201cArmenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d NGO, the \u201cCorporate Governance Center\u201d NGO and the \u201cYerevan Chamber of Commerce and Industry\u201d with financial support of the National Endowment for Democracy.
