On 25 April, a training for Vanadzor CSOs\u2019 Incubator on the topic \u201cEducation Sector: Developing a New Strategic Approach to Enhance Communication between Secondary Vocational Education, Training and Labour Market\u201d was held in the framework of \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project.<\/p>\n

Tigran Chorokhyan, expert of the Armenian Centre for Democratic Education (CIVITAS) conducted the training for CSO representatives that were involved in the Incubator.<\/p>\n

Notably, CSO incubators are aimed at promoting the capacity building and enhancing the effectiveness of CSOs.\u00a0Their mission is to provide professional and technical assistance to Armenian CSOs to develop their capacities in targeted 9 sectors and 4 thematic directions of the Project.<\/p>\n

  1. Monitoring of Public Budgets and Policies;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Development of Evidence based policies;<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Creation and\/or Development of Coalition,<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Constructive participation\/dialogue with the government and local self-governance bodies in public policy development the process.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    CSO incubators will be held in two stages in the following five cities:\u00a0Yerevan, Gyumri, Vanadzor, Gavar and Kapan. 36 CSOs, which will be selected, from the CSOs that completed the training organised by the American University of Armenia will participate in each phase.\u00a0Upon completion of the CSO incubators, a total of 33 grants will be provided on a competitive basis. It is planned to provide 16-17 grants in each stage.<\/p>\n

    The training is organised in the framework of the \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d action is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a Consortium of civil society organisations, which are \u201cArmenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d, Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), Armenian Centre for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, \u201cInternational Center for Human Development\u201d Public Organisation, SME Cooperation Association and Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
