The educational certification capacity building program for the representatives of 15 civil society organizations (CSO) is continued at the American University of Armenia.<\/p>\n
The participants are from Lori and Shirak marzes, and from Yerevan.<\/p>\n
\u201cGood governance needs effective partnerships between the civil society organizations, which brings new quality to the management system, and we as representatives of the local authorities have felt long ago. Many succeed when they use the support of especially experienced NGOs while designing and implementation of the programs, and such cases are numerous,\u201d Mr. Emin Yeritsyan, President of the Union of Communities of Armenia, member of the Consortium implementing the \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue project said at the opening of the training. \u201cI believe this cooperation will continue after the training as well, and will be just as interesting,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
After completion of the training program, participant NGOs will have opportunity to participate in grant competitions.<\/p>\n
The educational program is organized in the framework of the EU funded \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project, which aims at making the voice of civil society heard at public discussions in Armenia and to develop sustainable and effective skills among the civil society in Armenia, to start a dialogue with government and local self-government bodies.<\/p>\n
The \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by a Consortium of civil society organizations, which are the Armenian Lawyers\u2019 Association (lead organization), Agora Central Europe (NGO based in the Czech Republic), the Armenian Centre for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, the International Centre for Human Development, the SME Cooperation Association and the Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
