The Statute of \u201cDiscover Our Country\u201d Youth NGO that operates in Shirak Marz of Armenia has been revised and registered in the State Register of Legal Entities. \u201cMiss Victoria Yeghoyan, lawyer of ALA Office in Gyumri, helped us in reviewing our Statute,\u201d representative of the NGO Simon Darbinyan said.<\/p>\n
It should be noted that after the adoption of the new law on non-governmental organizations, almost all NGOs should have to review their statutes and harmonize with the requirements of the law.<\/p>\n
Victoria Yeghoyan, lawyer of the \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project has provided advice and support in this issue to Simon Darbinyan, as well as representatives of other NGOs.<\/p>\n
The \u201cCommitment to Constructive Dialogue\u201d Project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union by the \u201cArmenian Lawyers\u2019 Association\u201d NGO in cooperation with its partners; Agora Central Europe o.p.s (an NGO from the Czech Republic), Armenian Center for Democratic Education-CIVITAS, \u201cInternational Center for Human Development\u201d Public Organization, SME Cooperation Association and Union of Communities of Armenia.<\/p>\n
This week, revised statutes of other NGOs operating in Shirak Marz have also been submitted for registration in the State Register of Legal Entities. Victoria Yeghoyan provided support in this issue to the representatives of \u201cAgate\u201d Center for Women with Special Needs NGO, \u201cAraks Center\u201d Charitable NGO, \u201cTsoline\u201d Benevolent Cultural Human Rights Protection NGO as well. It is anticipated that by the end of this month, the revised statutes of these organizations will also be registered.<\/p>\n
Learning about the opportunity of receiving free legal aid, Hasmik Buniatyan, representative of the \u201cSocial Worker\u201d NGO from Ararat Marz, also applied to Victoria Yeghoyan.
