The Newly created Anti-Corruption Body will have Operative Intelligence Functions as well: Susanne Soghomonyan

Susanne Soghomonyan, Lawyer at the Armenian Lawyers’ Association NGO, and Sergei Bagratyan, a member of Tsarukyan faction of the National Assembly, debate in the framework of the online “Aravot” program “Dem ar Dem” (tête-à-tête).
According to Susanne Soghomonyan, the Anti-Corruption Council led by the Prime Minister is an advisory body, that is, a specialized platform where various anti-corruption issues were discussed. A number of anti-corruption reforms last year, such as criminalization of the illicit enrichment, the establishment of a whistleblower’s system, and the creation of an anti-corruption body are the most convincing. All these draft laws were discussed at that professional platform. As to the anti-corruption body created by the new government program, it will not be the same as the previous ones. In particular, it is an independent anti-corruption body, which will also have operative intelligence functions. Details are in the video and here ( https://www.aravot.am/2018/06/11/963321/
